Ruhi Khaire, a 1-year-old baby girl, was brought to our clinic by her mother, Nikita Khaire, with complaints of persistent fever, lethargy, and bruising. Upon physical examination and diagnostic tests, including blood tests and bone marrow aspiration, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), a type of blood cancer. The leukaemia cells were found to be of intermediate risk.
The recommended treatment for Ruhi's condition involves a combination of chemotherapy, supportive care, and potentially other interventions such as blood transfusions and antibiotic therapy to manage complications arising from the disease and its treatment. Given the nature of ALL and its aggressive progression, prompt initiation of treatment is essential to maximize the chances of remission and long-term survival.
Unfortunately, the cost of treating Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia can be substantial, especially considering the need for prolonged chemotherapy courses, supportive medications, hospitalizations, and other ancillary services. It is estimated that Ruhi's treatment will require approximately 450,000 INR, a considerable sum that poses a significant financial burden for her family.
Nikita Khaire, Ruhi's mother, is the primary caregiver and supporter for the family. Ruhi's father, who works as a salesperson, earns a modest income that is insufficient to cover the cost of her treatment. With no substantial savings or financial resources, the family is deeply concerned about how they will afford the necessary medical care for their daughter.
In light of the significant financial constraints faced by Ruhi's family, we humbly request assistance in securing funding or resources to cover the cost of her treatment. Every effort will be made to ensure that Ruhi receives the care she urgently needs to fight her battle against leukaemia and achieve the best possible outcome.
We sincerely hope for your understanding and support during this challenging time for Ruhi and her family. Your assistance will not only alleviate their financial burden but also provide them with the hope and reassurance they need to navigate through this difficult journey.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We remain hopeful for a positive response and look forward to any assistance you may be able to provide.
