I am so heartbroken to see this little gem Baby cry. I have never seen her suffer in so much pain before. It hurts me to know I can do absolutely nothing to relieve her from this. I can only pray it ends soon." Says Care Taker She is growing up in an orphanage.
Baby Tanavi is a 6-year-old female child to be operated on by Pradnya (General Surgeon) of our hospital. The child is in case of Bilateral Ureteric Reimplantation Surgery to fix the tubes that connect the bladder to the kidney. The surgery changes the position of the tubes at the point where they join the bladder to stop urine from backing up into the kidneys
The child was brought By Missionaries of charity Orphanage Vile Parle (Mumbai)
Baby Tanavi is residing under caring of this organisation, her parents left her on the roadside when she born then police took her to the Orphanage for shelter and food. At present, she is staying there only and for Medical Emergency Child.
The child has been ailing for a long time and was shown to various doctors and symptomatically treated but her condition did not improve and she was referred to Mumbai hospital for further management. Doctors have advised surgery and costly monitoring which Orphanage is unable to afford and the total cost of her treatment is Rs 1,00,000/-
The Coronavirus situation has added to their distress. Her Care Taker have trouble coordinating with the hospital for treatment of Baby Tanavi Even so, they try their best to support the child by whatever means they can.
"If I could do anything to help Tanavi I would "Says the Care Taker". She has been the most kind and helpful child anyone could have. She is really a blessing from God. And so I know his grace will shine on her and help her overcome this hurdle. He will send somebody to help us." says Orphanage Care Taker.
This helpless Baby Tanavi asks for your support and to save this little Child who is critical and needs treatment as soon as possible.
