Baby Kaish, a 2-year-old boy, was diagnosed with a complex form of congenital heart disease involving multiple defects. His condition includes Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV), Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Non-Restrictive Atrial Septal Defect (NRGA), Severe Mitral Stenosis (MS), Supramitral Membrane, and Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Connection (PAPVC) of the Left Superior Pulmonary Vein (LSPV). This complex combination of defects has resulted in significant impairment of cardiac function and circulation.
The recommended treatment for Baby Kaish's condition involves a comprehensive surgical repair to address each of the identified defects. This includes:
Surgical repair of DORV: Rerouting of the great arteries to their appropriate ventricles.
Closure of VSD: Patch closure of the ventricular septal defect to prevent abnormal blood flow between the ventricles.
Mitral valve repair: Resection of the supramitral membrane to relieve obstruction and improve valve function.
Repair of PAPVC: Correction of the anomalous connection of the left superior pulmonary vein to the heart.
The cost of such complex surgical interventions, including preoperative evaluation, surgical procedures, postoperative intensive care in the ICU, medications, and other ancillary services, can be substantial. It is estimated that the total cost for Baby Kaish's treatment at Jupiter Hospital, including the surgical procedures and postoperative ICU care, will be approximately 330,000 INR.
Baby Kaish's father works as a salesperson, selling katha soap, and earns a modest income. However, the cost of his son's medical treatment far exceeds their financial means. As a result, the family is unable to afford the necessary surgical intervention to address Baby Kaish's congenital heart disease.
Given the dire financial circumstances faced by Baby Kaish's family, we earnestly request assistance in securing funding or resources to cover the cost of his medical treatment. Every effort will be made to ensure that Baby Kaish receives the specialized care he urgently needs to overcome the challenges associated with his complex congenital heart disease.
Your support and assistance during this critical time will make a profound difference in Baby Kaish's life and his family. We appeal to your compassion and generosity in helping to alleviate their financial burden and provide them with the hope and reassurance they need during this challenging journey.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We remain hopeful for a positive response and deeply appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide.
