Baby Shrinay, a 2-month-old infant, has been diagnosed with Primary Immunodeficiency – Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), a rare and life-threatening condition where the body is unable to fight even minor infections.

Due to this critical illness, doctors have advised an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant, which is the only curative treatment available. Unfortunately, Baby Shrinay’s condition has been continuously worsening with time, making early intervention absolutely essential.

• Primary Immunodeficiency Disorder

• Extremely weak immune system
• High risk of severe and recurrent infections

Without a transplant, survival chances are extremely limited.

Proposed Treatment Plan

Doctors at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General (LTMG) Hospital have recommended:

• Bone Marrow Transplant (Autologous)
• Pre- and post-transplant chemotherapy
• Post-operative ICU care
• Long-term infection control, medicines, and monitoring

This treatment is life-saving and cannot be delayed.

The estimated cost of treatment is approximately ₹11,02,450, which includes:

• Bone Marrow Transplant procedure
• Chemotherapy and conditioning regimen
• ICU and isolation ward stay
• Doctor and anesthesia charges
• Medicines, investigations, and supportive care

Baby Shrinay’s father is a daily-wage laborer earning a very nominal income. The family has no savings or financial backup to manage such a large medical expense.
